Hehehehehehehe
today, my DEAREST friends, foong mun and weiquin took me out to celebrate my 18 birthday...it was memorable and it touched me. they are trully the best of friends any one could ask for and i thank the both of you from the bottom of my heart. (sob sob...)
okay, enough of the mushy mushy stuff...
here's a blow by blow of what happened:
in the afternoon, they came over to help me select what to wear cause i usually wear erm not soo appropriate outfits...(aka, my favourite pa sat ma lan shorts...) and soon, we were out but not before fm gave me thoese lovely earings and wq the cutest, most innovative b-day card(or shld i say box).
first stop was at raffles city where we had a birthday cake at BakersInz. my DEAREST friends EMBARASSed me when they had the staff there singing a birthday song...ahyo....i just turned red instantly...but the cake was SUPERB!!! unfortunetly...we had abit too much of it(they each had 1.5 slices n me,2) n it got abit sickening...but i love it none the less.
after the naseauting "meal" we had at raffles city, we went down to orchard to look for my mom. after tt, we proceeded to HEEREN where we took neoprints....
it was FAB!!!! we had lots of fun doing tt... esp the shinny ones...
after we took the pictures, it was already dinner time....
and boy was i in for a surprised...
we had dinner at "the balcony"---they sure know what i was thinking...
the ambiance was fantastic and service was good. food was okay...
and sadly, we wanted to go to the bar upstairs but i was TOO YOUNG (4 DAYS TOO YOUNG TO BE EXACT)....so they had to sacrifice and they both had their drinks downstairs.
wq had the famous S'pore Sling which tasted like antibiotics...so tt did not go down too well
fm had the lemon smth magaritta... which was a tad too salty....not very agreeable too
but the drinks were really expensive...
but the bouncy charis at "the balcony" were comfy and fun :) but really, what was most annoying was the fact that they admitted patrons based on the date not WEEK or MTH or YR....-.-''
not too satisfied, we took off to the esplanade to enjoy the skyline of s'pore...(right....)
our heels were killing us so unable to find a bus to take us there we took a cab. oh, i also need to mention tt FM's face was RED esp her ears!!!! it was soo hot....hehehe
we went to the roof top of the esplanade but it was very crowded so we went to the river side...
it was kinda boring sitting there watching ppl make out so we went to the old esplanade satay club to have "supper"(at 9.40pm...)
wow, i absolutely love the satay there and the BBQ chicken wings and the ice tea(not too sweet or bitter. perfect)
after that, we proceeded back to the esplanade to go home...
by then we were slighty cooled off and the night did not end at a high note so....
we went off and did a stupid thing like we usually do.
along the connection from the esplanade to the city link, we were taking snapshots of ourselves jumping in midair...
so it was pretty hilarious....u see a girl who's barefooted jumping at the middle of the walkway...
boy, we did attract some stares as we stood by the side wating for the other passer by to leave the area...
we had to jump consecutively to get a good shot but wq had abit of a problem....
it was fun, stupid and a good exercise...
so this exercise helped us to end our day on a HIGH note....
and the way home, we decided that we needed to compile a list of stupid things we always do...including walking long distances in killer heels... forcing down half a cake... jumping in public...scrubbing the HDB concrete... and the list goes on....
what are friends for if we don't go through the humiliations together?
what are friends for if we don't have fun together?
what are friends for if we don't stick together through thick and thin?
once agian, i'm thankful for such friends and cheers to our friendship and the years ahead that we are gg to spend together.
friends forever!!!!
and may our long list of traditions and silly activities continue to grow...!!!

wq and fm are my best buds man...not exactly best buds cause i hv none... but they are one of e best ppl to have as friends... fm is e cold, cool calm one while wq is e sassy, blur, tech-savvy one and i'm the noisy, sarcastic,irritating one amongst us... well, enjoy reading the blog n chill... :D

well.. the trios are mun, li and me! known lixin since primary 5 and since than.. we've had a hell lotsa fun together! hahas.. know mun thru li.. basically we're crazy people who love hanging out with each other! hehes.. u guys rock! forever friends (:

1) Cleaning void deck with plastic bag & water

2) Walking in painful heels the whole day

3) Taking the wrong bus which never stops

4) Being lunatics at the underground
